The ideas provided on the CD can inspire your mind to meander and formulate new exercises or methods of concentration that work great for you.

Certain guided meditation CD's will guide you through a short period at the end of a meditation session to bring your mind back to a full awareness state. If your CD is not one of these, this is no big deal. You can just relax a few minutes until you feel all your mental capacities return so that you don't shock your senses after finishing your experience of meditation guided.
