There are a surprising number of people who are looking for jobs that they can do in the evenings either after they have finished their day job or after the kids have gone to sleep. They are looking to earn some extra money to help cover the cost of higher fuel bills or pay for the mortgage.

There are a surprising number of jobs that can be done from home in the evening. In fact it does not matter that it is the evening where you are, you can do most of the work any time of the day or night. Conventional jobs only require you to work from nine to five as it is more cost effective to only have to have a building operating the minimum number of hours needed. Working from home you are not bound by these considerations.

One of the most common types of jobs are typing based. The internet is keyboard and mouse driven so most internet work at home jobs require the use of a keyboard and mouse. Some of the more popular jobs include completing surveys and questionnaires, large companies and government bodies always want to know what citizens and consumers are thinking.

For the more adventurous there are plenty of mystery shopping work available. Sure it does require you to venture out but the report part of the job you can do at home. Mystery shopping is more than just visiting shops and many of the jobs can be done in the evening and include visiting leisure facilities, restaurants and even night clubs.
